New methodology
After the success of the original Game Capture Net, it was a natural progression for the Capture Company to focus on domestic animals. The solid ground work for the antelope net laid the foundations — all we had to do was design a new net for dogs. We came up with a fantastically light, soft and non-abrasive, yet very strong net, which allowed us to use smaller square sizes.
Available in 7m x 7m and 10m x 10m sizes.
We relied on the advice of our clients that darker nets would be better for dogs as opposed to the light-coloured nets for antelope. We now have nets in dark green and our system frames all undergo a metal plating process. This protects the frames from the weather elements and darkens them to a stunning matte black finish.
Our nets have already rescued a number of dogs in Germany, all of which were safely returned to their owners after being on the run for months.
We reunited these Best Friends with their Families within days of using the Dog Capture Net!

Before The Capture Net was developed, the rescue and translocation of rare and endangered African antelope species was difficult and costly. It also posed considerable risks to the animals’ well-being.
South African game rancher Haydn Krige and his long time friend Russel Knott, an electrical engineer, set themselves on a mission to find a new approach to safely and successfully capture antelope. After many trials and tribulations and years in the field, they came up with The Capture Net.
This is a highly effective, injury-reducing, quiet capture system which employs completely new methodology to capture game. It was a first in South Africa and made enormous waves in the industry.
The Capture Net was acknowledged for its contribution to the wildlife industry in 2017 when Haydn and the team were finalists in Wildlife Ranching South Africa’s Eastern Cape Awards.
